Alan Seiffert serves as CEO, Digital Smash Enterprises, a New York City-based multi-platform company for acquiring, licensing, distributing, and marketing films, TV, and video content to  global audiences via digital streaming, online, mobile, VOD and OTT platforms. Digital Smash also partners with Digital Media Rights (“DMR”), one of the world’s leading aggregators and multi-platform distributors of feature films and television programs across North America, for development and operation of video streaming channels.

Immediately prior to Digital Smash, Seiffert ran a boutique strategic advisory firm for innovative media, gaming, and technology start-ups. Seiffert was previously at NBCUniversal for 10 years, most recently as Senior Vice President at the Syfy Network. Prior to that, Seiffert served as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Partnerships for CNBC Asia Pacific (based in Singapore), and as Vice President, Business Affairs for the television distribution group in Los Angeles.

Earlier in his career, Seiffert was Assistant General Counsel for the National Basketball Association, and a Vice President with the Fox Entertainment Group. Seiffert was also an attorney with Paul Hastings, and served as Law Clerk to United States District Court Chief Judge Julian Able Cook, Jr.

Seiffert holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan, an M.A. degree from NYU, and a B.A. degree from California State University, Northridge. He is admitted to the State Bar of California
