SundanceTV’s VP of Digital Media and Marketing, Drew Pisarra recently joined the network to helm its strategy, development and operations across all digital platforms. Prior to his role at SundanceTV, Pisarra was the primary shaper of AMC Digital’s editorial voice, fanning the widespread online appeal of AMC megahits The Walking Dead, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad. From addictive personality tests to slick multimedia magazine, Pisarra has guided the creation of digital features so unique and attention-grabbing that they’ve extended the reach of their associated programs (such as SundanceTV’s Rectify, The Red Road and The Honorable Woman) well beyond what’s normally expected from supporting online content. His work in the digital sphere has garnered various industry honors and been buzzed about in the New York Times, EW, and PC Magazine. Before joining AMC, Pisarra spent two years as New York magazine’s online Senior Editor. Prior to that, he worked as a Regional Editor for Citysearch. He is an Associate Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and a voting member for the Webby and James Beard Awards.
