The Independent Production Fund was established in 1991 as a private Foundation with an endowment now valued at $32 M from Maclean Hunter Ltd. The revenues generated by the endowment and recoupment from investments are used to support the production of Canadian drama series. The Web Drama Series Program was undertaken as an experimental project in 2010. The program has been extended indefinitely and to date has invested over $7 million dollars into 70 series for the web.

CineCoup Media is a disruptive, technology-enabled studio for independent film and TV content creators. It accelerates the process by having creators develop their projects in structured “seasons” in front of the social media audience, who help determine which projects get financed and distributed.
